What is MoonLightSpecial and who's behind it?
 
MoonLightSpecial.com is an alternative to traditional internet shopping. We provide consumers with 24 hour limited quantity format, while providing exceptional products at an extremely deep discounted price. Our products focus on the electronics arena however we may through a curve ball every once in a while. Our sister site goingTODAY.com which focuses only Musical Merchandise is entering its 4th year in the 'Deal of the Day' business. Thats a long time in internet years!
 
I see only one item, do you sell anything else?
 
No. We sell one item per day until it is sold out or until 11:59pm Eastern time when it is replaced. However, each item we sell is in stock and typically ships within 2-3 business days.
 
What is the schedule for new items?
 
The short answer: we offer a new item every single day. The details: a new product is released every morning at 12am Eastern time, seven days a week. (If you're not a morning person, this can be described as every night at midnight. Better?) If a product sells out during its run, a new item will not appear until the next release time. You will know if a product is sold out, because the main page says "SOLD OUT" instead of offering a PayPal button.
 
I missed yesterday's item, can I still get one?
 
No. Each MoonLightSpecial.com product is discontinued at 11:59pm Eastern time. That's that. Period. We have no waiting/notification lists.
 
I want to talk to a live person there, can I call you?
 
No. We are not staffed to handle all of your questions via phone but you can use the "Contact Us" area of the site to get in touch with us.
 
How do I return a defective product?
 
Send an email to rma@MoonLightSpecial.com with your order number, the name of the product you are returning, and the detailed problem with the item. We will respond with return authorization 2 business days. Because we may or may not have a replacement in stock, you should be prepared for a refund-only option if that's all we can do. Know that return freight will be at your expense.
 
Will MoonLightSpecial.com ever tell us how many units remain available in a given sale?
 
No. That would spoil the fun.
 
Does MoonLightSpecial.com offer an RSS feed?
 
Yes. Simply subscribe to http://www.MoonLightSpecial.com/rssfeed.cfm in your RSS reader to receive updates of all of our new items.
 
 

Ordering

How do I create a MoonLightSpecial account?
 
You can't. Currently we only accept PayPal. It is better and safer for everyone. We don't want to be in the business of knowing your credit card number.
 
What payment options do I have?
 
Only Paypal for now. This will be changing in the future.
 
What are my shipping options?
 
Currently, your shipping options are limited. An item can ship if you order it, or not ship if you don't. We will ship by common carrier and try to stick with the same service for most items. Right now, we are making the USPS happy, but depending on a particular item, we could change to save cost.
 
Can I track my order?
 
No - we do not offer tracking. At least not yet. Do not email us the next day asking when your item will ship. Take a breath. Play some mozart. Patience in all things, grasshopper.
